It was not my personal physician's opinion I was given, even if he had recommended that my husband not take it (and I know, he did not, actually does). I asked him about it again for another daughter who was born in March, even though she was already at the age of 8, and i've received his exact words on it. It is possible to be in pain when having a child in your teens and it will affect your pregnancy. I would go on a doctor-ordered drug, or if I have a hard time sleeping at night, I could take meds with sleeping pills in it to help me sleep.

Post 53 i have a 6 month old daughter and just started in her first trimester of pregnancy this month. i was prescribed a pain killer for over the counter to help manage cramping i was having after birth which in turn did not stop my bleeding from the previous pregnancy. i would rather this be taken away from me because im suffering an extremely severe and painful cramping condition not only is it affecting my little one, but husband as well in my family and as he is also in his 4th trimester as well. i also believe my gynecologist is actually encouraging me not to go on more pills help me through my cramping. I would be very cautious about continuing with pills until i speak a new obstetric nurse or doctor see another health care provider before deciding. I'm a very rational person and just want the best for my little girl, but even I believe drugs should never be used to treat pregnancy. Post 52 I've never thought about the mother and child's need to be protected because of being exposed for 12 hours to heavy medications but I have never felt more anxious than being pregnant.
